Findara

Recently built, Findara’s lofty ceilings, luxury furnishings and wild Northumberland views chime to a different tune, where relaxation and an off-the-beaten-track feel is the name of the game.

Findara is our latest holiday home, lovingly self built on the site of a former mill in 2024. If it's rest and relaxation you crave, then Findara offers this in abundance; you'll find understated appeal, open-plan living, and a light-filled space complete with sinkable sofas and cosy blankets. There are three bedrooms at Findara; one with a king-size bed (with an en suite bath and overhead rain shower), and one with zip-and-link beds (which can be set up as a double or a twin) with an en suite with double walk-in rain shower. There is also a single bedroom with an additional pull out bed (sleeps 2 children under 12 years old or one adult). Both master bedrooms have access into the garden.

In the adjoining guest wing, we also have two ensuite guest bedrooms named ‘Havilliard’ meaning ‘loved one’ and ‘Serafina’, Hebrew for ‘highest ranking angels of God’. Both rooms are situated on the ground floor and interconnect with Findara should you wish to add on additional bedrooms. Please enquire when making your booking if you require extra bedrooms, subject to availability.

Our rooms are light and airy with dramatic tall ceilings and decorated using beautiful soft furnishings and fabrics from renowned local designer, Charlotte Gaisford. You will have access to your accommodation via a lockable door and we offer an external key safe so that you can come and go as you please.

We do our best to ensure the environment is at the forefront of what we provide and continue to make small steps towards being sustainable. We source local ingredients for our welcome hamper and toiletries that are eco-friendly and cruelty free. Our underfloor heating and timber frame home secures our pledge to sustainability, whilst maintaining an ambient temperature year-round via our ground source heat pump. Thermostats are present in each room for individual control.

Your stay includes a luxury hamper of local produce, Smart TV with AppleTV and Netflix, Nespresso coffee machine, books and board games, Starlink internet, luxury linen, towels and bath products by Noble Isle & Laura Thomas Co.
