Findara is located down a private track, offering tranquillity and beautiful views. Due to its perfect skies, Northumberland has been awarded gold tier status by the international Dark Sky Association (IDA), making it officially one of the best places on Earth to view the wonders of the night sky. There is an abundance of wildlife and sightings of deer, hares, pheasants, and birds are common. If you're seeking exploration, aside from muddy countryside walks from the doorstep, you're only a short drive from a string of sandy beaches. The local village of Lowick has two excellent pubs and a popular village shop. Holy Island is 5 miles away and we are also a short distance from Bamburgh Castle, the Farne Islands and the market town of Berwick-upon-Tweed where there are many local activities available including horse riding, surfing, fishing and golf.
